IQuote 2.0 - World of Quotes App Reviews

I can tell this app is going to be very enjoyable, maybe even useful, but I am so disappointed to find that the authors are not alphabetized by last name--looking for Lewis? Check the Cs for C.S. But if you want Carroll, go to the Ls for Lewis--very strange and potentially very frustrating if you cant think of the authors first name or initial.

Works great. Worth every penny. I enjoyed the ability to add my own quotes that I make/find. GET THIS APP!!

mass deleting is a pain, id love to be able to either erase all the quotes or a mass deletion section so i can start creating a database of the quotes i want. other then that Great program and well worth the money

Love this app! Very well thought out- just hoping they will keep adding more quotes to keep up with current events

There are over 9000 quotes in "other" and all you can do is scroll thru then one by one? Ive given up... Im beyond frustrated

Do not like the quotes - many are too wordy & not memorable -would like to see Bartlett type quotes

Wow... I am amazed by the size and scope of iQuote, the depth and breadth of authors is just staggering. Yes it could be easier to search, using last names, more categories etc. However, I must implore anyone to get this based simply on its massive self-contained library of quotes. So many gems of wisdom, I could browse for days. This is culture, education and humor. My favorite section is Dan Quayles, hoo-wee! Honestly, this app makes me feel sorry for people without iPhones.

I REALLY enjoy your app but I would have given it the 5th star if you gave us the choice to scroll through all of them. The only choice we have now is random and because of it we get lots of repeats. Itd be more useful to be able to start at 1 and work yourself up. Also itd be cool and it could start where you left off! Once you update this I will also update my review. Thanks!

This application has a wealth of quotations and is its greatest asset. However, two limitations diminish its value: (1) the authors are searched by their FIRST name (most users would know last names, but may not know authors first names), and (2) there is no ability to search the text of the quotes to find the author of a quote you have heard. The navigation could also be improved to diminish the flicking necessary to traverse long lists. Otherwise, IQuote is a good application and well worth the price.

Love the app but it freezes when I add my quote. The ok button doesnt work

Also could be great if you could SMS a quote.

I love quotes, and I love this app because not only can I add my own quotes, but I can edit and delete my own quotes, and add my own categories! The category system could be a little more user friendly, maybe having an area where you can add or delete categories. And I would love to be able to personalize the My Quote area from that yellow...or be able to sort the quotes by author. And I miss having the ability to edit and delete the quotes that come in app. Also, a great improvement would be to be able to import quotes from an outside source without having to type them all in!

What are developers thinking when they specify that their Apps require the latest iPhone OS firmware? Especially firmware 3.1.3, which is not much different to 3.1.2. Sorry, but I’m not going to upgrade my firmware just to run your App, no matter how good it may be!

Better quotes and updates. I have both but use this one more.

Great selection of quotes. I love being able to add and categories my own quotes. Developer really listens to suggestions.

I just updated this app and now it doesnt work. When you go to catergories there is nothing, when you search an author... Nothing... get the picture. Will change my rating once this is fixed!

Will give four stars. Like that we can add and share our own quotes. Dont like that there is currently no way to sync or save the ones we add. Hopefully that will be coming soon and I can add the fifth star. Like the new icon.

This started out as a neat little program - until they updated it. Since then all quotes are gone. And even though they know it is a wide-spread problem, no fix yet. Disappointing.

Recent update has removed all data, leaving a quote app with no quotes.
